The
TWINRACE is the ideal linear bearing solution for
rugged industrial applications requiring dual rails to support a payload.
Its "C" channel extruded and hardened steel raceway provides
a robust and rigid foundation for the bearing system. The raceway
is honed for smooth, quiet operation and then coated for corrosion
and contamination resistance (including the bearing running surfaces).
Further, unlike most bearings, the TWINRACE's running
surfaces are raised and do not capture or hold contaminates which
can cause failures.
By using
a combination of floating and rotating sliders, TWINRACE
systems are able to compensate for mild misalignments of mounting
surfaces. This can speed assembly and reduce the overall machine cost
due to a reduced requirement for precision. TWINRACE
Sliders include a sturdy raceway wiper, a longitudinal seal, and a
lubrication system that minimizes maintenance.
