Thin Section Bearing Products


Thin Section Ball Bearings were developed for applications where space limitations are most important.  They have an extremely small, predominantly square cross-section.   Within each series, the cross-section remains constant giving them the unique desciption as a constant section bearings.

There are basically three types: deep groove radial contact, four point contact, and angular contact. We offer the four point contact type since these are most popular and can support axial loads from both directions as well as radial loads; they thus act in the same way as double row angular contact ball bearings.

High Quality Materials

  1. Inner and Outer Rings:   52100 or equivlalent bearing quality steel
  2. Balls:   52100 or equivalent bearing quality steel
  3. Ball Retainer:   Snap-over type brass material
  4. Seals:   NBR material (for sealed bearing versions)
