| NEW Economical linear bearing has 3 meters of travel
Designed for manufacturers of packaging, material handling, gantry cutting, and similar equipment, the new LAZ Series from T- Race offers an easy to apply and economical solution for light load, long travel linear bearing applications.
The compact design is only 26mm x 22mm (roughly 1" x 1") yet each slider is rated to carry 800N (180 lbs) of payload (more load with multiple sliders) |
 |
The simple design is made from roll formed, zinc plated steel with sliders made of hardened steel ball bearing rollers. The design includes internal, protected raceways and is very easy to install. It is ideal for attaching to low precision surfaces such as welded steel frames, sheet metal housings, and aluminum extrusion based frames.
The LAZ Series is also suitable for tough environments. Through the use of high temperature bearing grease and the lack of plastic parts, the LAZ Series is suitable for high temperature applications up to 130 degrees C. Further, it is also available in an all stainless steel version (LAX) for high levels of corrosion resistance.
Technical Characteristics
- Rails are rolled steel with bright Zinc-plating
- Rollers are made in hardened bearing steel
- Slider body is bright Zinc-plating steel
- Screws in bright Zinc-plated steel
- Rollers have 2Z seals and are lubed for life with high temperature mineral grease
- Operating temperature –40°C to 130°C
- Slider has adjustable eccentric central roller for easy preload adjustment and smooth movement without clearance
One of the LAZ Series best features is it economical price. In small quantities, a 3 meter stroke rail and slider is less than $150. For more information on the LAZ Linear Bearings, click here to download a pdf flyer, call us at 803-396-5544 or email info@tpa-us.com |
Low Profile Rotary Bearing is Ideal for Precision Rotary Positioning
Applications
PM Bearings and
The Precision Alliance proudly introduce the ULTIMATE
in low profile, high precision rotary bearings. The FMB Series is ideal
for rotary positioning systems where both precision and height are critical.
The various bearings
sizes are only 8.5 to 12.5mm tall yet deliver radial and axial run-out
from 10µm down to 1µm and wobble from 6µrad down to
2µrad.
The FMB is constructed of
high quality bearing steels, PTFE filled, plastic ball cage and super
precision steel balls. The specially designed raceways increase load
capacity and stiffness while guaranteeing high precision, long life,
and a low coefficient of friction.

Linear Systems Lubrication improves smoothness and dynamic life
The Precision Alliance
and KSS Ball Screws introduce a dramatic improvement in lubrication
of anti-friction linear bearing and ball screw systems. Originally developed
for miniature ball screws these new greases provide significant improvements
in both smoothness and dynamic life of antifriction systems.
When compared with the greases recommended and sold by other major linear
bearing producers the new MSG Greases offer increased smoothness and
over 6 times the result under a modified “Timken
OK Load Test”. (see full news release for charts)
These NEW greases
are constructed from a new compound of super filtered synthetic lubricants.
The MSG#1 is designed for extremely smooth precision motion in antifriction
bearings. The grease penetration number is a bit lower to ensure a glassy-smooth,
non-sticky feel at low speeds where very fine positioning is required.
MSG#2 has a higher penetration number so that it will stay in place
during high speed motion, but not so stiff that it will cause churning
or increased friction in high speed systems.
The lower friction provided
by the new MSG grease reduces wear, increases life, and smoothness of
recirculation, providing a significant advantage in the performance
linear systems.

NEW Heavy Duty Needle Roller Linear Guide 4-06
The Precision Alliance is
announcing a new line of recirculating needle roller linear guides manufactured
by PM-Bearings. PM Bearings has redefined the linear guide product with
this revolutionary new design. The PNUA linear guides were created to
support extremely heavy loads while providing ultra smooth, precise,
high-speed linear motion. The secret is the use of a very large number
of small diameter needle rollers. The relatively long length of the
rollers provides a dramatic increase in contact area making the PNUA
bearing the stiffest linear guide available
