Metal Bellows Couplings are very torsionally stiff products used to connect shaft ends for transmitting rotary torque.  These are backlash-free and used for the precise angular drive of potentiometer, encoders, resolvers, etcs.

• MK - Set screw type aluminum hub with high-grade steel bellows
• MKJ  - Clamp type aluminum hub with high-grade steel bellows
• SK - Taper lock type steel hub with high-grade steel bellows
• MKJ-S - Clamp type steel hub with stainless steel bellows
• MKJ-SAL - Clamp type aluminum alloy hub with high-grade steel bellows

Safety Couplings allow kinetic energy (inertia) from motors or drive systems to be safely disconnected.  Once the cause of high torque is eliminated the coupling automatically re-engages or locks into it's original state and is immediately ready for use.  There are two types: 

• Indirect - safety clutch without bellows coupling
• Direct - safety clutch integrated with bellows coupling
